Integra opens the doors on its new £1 million Factory Expansion
Integra AV officially opens this week after a £1 million investment in a new manufacturing site in Paull by Integra.
Burstwick-based Integra Buildings has expanded into manufacturing its own anti-vandal units – Integra AV – in a massive investment that shows Integra’s continued growth and commitment to invest in the local economy.
Integra purchased the 32,000 square foot factory and office facilities on two-acres of land in Paull, east of Hull, at the end of last year. The site has been overhauled and upgraded and 25 new staff, including welders, paint sprayers, labourers and joiners, have been appointed from the local workforce.
Integra Buildings Ltd has been designing and manufacturing prefabricated and portable modular buildings nationwide for 10 years. It has also supplied anti-vandal steel secure units for the past decade.
Based at the 25,000 square foot Burstwick head office site, Gary Parker, managing director, said today: “This is an exciting week for the Integra brand. We are thrilled that the manufacturing site is up and running.
“The million pound investment in expansion was the result of a lot of forward planning and meets our business desire to drive forward the Integra brand.”
Production Manager, John McGlynn, is running the site on a day-to-day basis. He added: “Previously we have bought in the anti-vandal units, now we are manufacturing them ourselves. With this substantial investment we will fast become one of the major players in manufacturing anti-vandal units in this region.”
